To set up or edit your frequent destinations, including dumping facilities, click "Settings" in the upper right corner of your Tank Track screen. Then select "Frequent Destinations" on the left.
Here you can add the addresses of the places you go often, so that you can add them into a truck's route on the daily schedule. It is especially important to add the facilities where you typically deposit waste. The locations here that are marked as a "dump" will appear in the Reports section to summarize how many gallons you disposed of at each location.
Adding/Editing Frequent Destinations
To edit an existing frequent destination, simply click the name of the destination and then edit.
To add a frequent destination, click the "Add New Destination" button.
- "Dump" vs. "Other:"If this destination is a location where you dispose of waste, check the "dump" checkbox. This will ensure that the destination will appear as a disposal location for the purpose of tracking the amount of waste disposed of at each facility each year.
- Address: Input a real, accurate street address. If you wish to add your frequent destination to a driver's route in the mapping portion of the schedule, the route will only map properly if a real address (recognized by Googlemaps) is used. Also, the address is needed for displaying the facility location on the Reports page.
Don't forget to click "Save Destination" when you're done!
Note: It doesn't matter if you are using a waste receiving facility or a land application location. Tank Track only keeps track of amount of waste deposited per "dump" location (total and by town) regardless of what kind of disposal your company utilizes.
